Getting Around UofG Websites

Single Sign On (SSO)

Single Sign On (SSO) isn’t an actual website but it’s something very important to know about!

This is your @uoguelph.ca email and password. It lets you access all the important websites that you’ll use as a student. This includes GryphMail, CourseLink, WebAdvisor, GryphLife and more!

Remember not to share your password with anyone as it is linked to important personal and banking information!

Gryphmail & the Office Suite

GryphMail is your UofG email account.

It’s extremely important to check your GryphMail often as this is where you get official campus emails and how your professors will likely communicate with you.

The university won’t use your personal account (your gmails, hotmails and yahoos) to email you, so any updates regarding tuition or enrollment deadlines, or emails from professors will be sent to your GryphMail.

  • You also have access to the entire Microsoft suite which includes OneDrive, Word, PowerPoint and Excel. This is to make it easier to share documents with your group members during group assignments.

WebAdvisor

WebAdvisor is your university financial and logistics hub – everything you don’t need to see daily but need to be aware of.

WebAdvisor has links to some very important webpages. It is where you can find the Student Planning tool, academic profile, financial information, and more.

If you ever need to talk to a person, you can always visit the LINC!

The staff at The LINC are trained to help with all your enrolment, financial, and records needs, and they can be found on the 3rd floor of the University Centre and online at uoguelph.ca/thelinc
