Navigating your Student Experience: Academic
CourseLink
This is your course hub, and you will probably be here every day, multiple times a day. This is where you access your course content, complete quizzes, view your grades and submit your assignments. Your professor will also post the course outline here for you to take a look at and get familiar with how your course is going to look!
On the CourseLink homepage you will see all your courses! Each course has an individual course page. There you will find headings like Content, Dropbox, Quizzes and Grades.
- Content: where you will typically find the course content. This could be lecture slides, course notes, assigned readings, or any other document your professor wants you to have for reference.
- Dropbox: most common place for you to submit essays, papers, etc. Professors can use the plagiarism software “Turnitin” to check for academic misconduct (i.e., cheating) by using a DropBox on CourseLink.
- Discussions: where professors can create different forums for students to ask questions. Some professors use the discussion board for assignments where you post your ideas and discuss them with your classmates!
- Grades: where you will find grades for assignments, quizzes, tests and midterms!
